And it only took 3 hours, spread across two days (hour today, 2 yesterday), in <= 12 F. Trust me when I say it felt like it took a LOT longer, especially since I was doing it solo. And I had to walk up steps (I hate those steps forever now). The plus side? I have heat for the next month!

Is the sprog not old enough yet? If not, seems like one of these might make it a bit easier:

My little one? She's not old enough yet, she's two next month. I can't wait til she gets older though; she can do the things I don't want to do. I'll just tell her they're. chores, :)

2? OK, so at least this is the last year you'll have to do it ;)

Hopefully. I can't wait til she can walk the dog! And feed the dog and cat. And yard work. Best thing about being a parent? Free child labor, :).

You want to get your money's worth out of her. Better sell the dishwasher too. :)

Ha, jokes on her! We got a dishwasher with the house, and we're not even sure if it works! I'm just gonna go ahead and say no, cuz I'm the dad, and I can do that. lol.

'It's called a dishwasher because that's where you have to sit while you wash the dishes ... Well, OK, I guess if you promise to do them all really well, you can stand up at the sink.'
Classic sales technique: don't offer a yes/no choice, give them two options and they'll pick one. God, I can't wait to have psychology experiments kids of my own.

I'm looking forward to my two year old daughter being old enough for some child labor :)

I know, right? I mean, bring a parent is gonna rock until she becomes a Preteen. Until then, I plan to milk the free labor thing for all it's worth!

Ha, it's just that I'm stubborn, and so is my wife. Our kid is also stubborn, I can already see it. I have a gut feeling she's gonna be a trouble maker. Good news though, since I expect her to get into trouble, I'm always on the lookout for it. :D
But yeah, if she's anything like her mother or me, she is either gonna be in our face or silently brooding. Lol
